GAFC Basket Bingo
The GAFC #1 will be hosting a Basket Bingo on Sunday, October 19th. The bingo will be held at The 27 House. Doors open at 12:30 P.M. Early bird bingo begins at 1:45 P.M., with regular bingo beginning at 2:00 P.M. Tickets cost $20.00. Chicken BBQ supports Gratz Little League
The GAFC #1 will be having a Chicken BBQ on Saturday, August 30th. The platters will be ready for purchase at The 27 House around 11:00 A.M. All proceeds collected will benefit The Gratz Little League. Each platter costs $8.00 and consists of a chicken half, baked potato, cole slaw, and a choice of dessert. Please come out to support The Gratz Little League and hurry, as the platters sell quickly!

The Gratz Area Fire Company #1 is holding a fund raiser for the 2008 Gratz Fair. There are 15 prizes available. Each ticket costs $2. Michael Foods Walk-Through
Michael Foods, Inc. of Klingerstown will be hosting a walk-through tour of their facility on June 7th, 2008. A hazardous materials class will also be included in the schedule. Breakfast will be served by Michael Foods at 7:00 A.M. A walk-through of the new ammonia system will be from 7:30 A.M. to 8:00 A.M. The hazardous materials class will be held from 8:00 A.M. to 10:00 A.M. From 10:00 A.M. to 11:00 A.M., a tour of the plant will be held, with the group being accompanied by a federal instructor. 11th Annual Consignment Sale
The Gratz Area Fire Co. #1 & The Amish Parochial Schools of Upper Dauphin County will be hosting their 11th annual consignment sale on Saturday, May 3rd. The sale will be held at the Gratz Fairgrounds and will begin at appx. 8:30 A.M. There will be 12 auctioneers working throughout the day. Food for sale will include an all-you-can-eat breakfast buffet from 6:00 A.M. to 10:00 A.M., chicken BBQ, pig roast, homemade ice cream, homemade baked goods, and other good food. GAFC #1 St. Baldricks '08
The GAFC will be holding its annual St. Baldrick's event on Saturday, March 15th, 2008. Registration will begin at 11:00 A.M. and shaving will begin at 2:00 P.M. There will be a DJ, 50/50 drawings & door prizes. After the shavings are complete, there will be various flavors of wings and other refreshments available.
